The best time to do exercise

Now we mostly work from home. Maybe before you didn’t have time to think about it and now you are more flexible so you can plan all your day and want to know the best time to do exercise! Here is the answer based on the research.

So generally what I’ve learnt from research is if you are doing aerobic exercise and want to burn fat the best time is the morning. It shows that aerobic exercise in the morning before breakfast reduces fat.

Another benefit of doing exercise in the morning is that it improves your sleep quality compared to doing it in the afternoon and in the evening. Especially if you are suffering from anxiety and depression you can see other benefits to sleeping deeply.

However, they also show that any time doing a resistance exercise gives you the same benefits. So you don’t have to worry that if you don’t want to do in the morning and prefer after work or the opposite! It still improves your sleep quality and no change regarding to performance or muscle gain. But they also suggest eating protein after exercise. So always make sure you grab something.

At the end of the day, it really doesn’t matter so long as you are doing your workouts and not skipping any. So don’t find any excuses, just make your workout plan and do it whenever works best for your schedule.

I hope it is helpful. Let me know if you have more questions.
